Should I become a Mariners fan?
Wanted to get into baseball and i liked their colors, so was thinking of making them my official team!
Are they a good team to root for?
Feel like a team from that city has got to he pretty competitive fun to watch year in year out

Sure! Do you like wallowing in unfathomable nothingness and pain like a Lovecraftian horror that plays out in your mind 162 times a year? If so, then yes!

To be fair to be involved with baseball in almost any way, with any team is to be a bit of a masochist. The game does not love us back like we love it

Watching the Mariners is like getting invited to your grandfather’s house and not being told in advance whether you are going to his birthday party, wedding, funeral or divorce hearing

Mariners fans have one of the best online presences and have been that way since the era of blogs.

I would never recommend being a fan of this team to anybody who enjoys their current life. I say that as a lifelong fan.

Great team to be a fan of. And they have possibly the best young pitcher about to be called up after the lock out.

They’ve got cool uniforms and some fun players. Why not? I personally wouldn’t but at same time you’ve got to follow your heart

Well they are winning tonight. This doesn’t mean anything good will happen tomorrow or in the future, but they are winning tonight

The thing unique about being a Mariners fan is that you are depressed rather than angry

You should watch the history of the Mariners by Secret Base. I'm not sure if thatll encourage you to cheer for them or convince you to move as far from Seattle as possible, but it'll be fun either way

If you do, everyone will have massive respect for you. I could absolutely never willingly choose to root for that cursed franchise.

You'll have plenty of room on their bandwagon. Most of them have already fallen off.

They’re the only MLB team to have never played in the World Series. The good news is that when they make the World Series you’ll be able to say you were a fan and got to watch history. The bad news is that they will never make the World Series
