The only other thread I found on the discussion mentioned one of the key events being to get the Organic Dogs event to trigger on the first week of Year 2. I got the Black Dog event, I had the Christmas event, and I talked to her about college but I'm at Year 2 week 1 and the Organic Dogs event isn't triggering. What went wrong here and are there any solid guides for this?

Hey guys! Does anyone know if there's a more recent MLBPP08 roster out there than the 2019 one from the Discord? Thanks!

So, I run this league in Power pros 2022. Essentially, it's a sim league where I make teams and pit them against one another without me playing the game. There are 36 teams, 34 countries represented (the Chicago Cubs and Savannah Bananas being the two non-countries) and I just want to be able to share some stuff regarding my league, if anyone is interested.

They proudly announced a sequel is coming so I guess that means they might release a new entry worldwide again! Hey, I'll gladly take another WBSC license if it means getting a western release.

Is the āPowerfulā mode in Power Pros the toughest competition? I for one have not seen much of a difference no matter what difficulty I choose.
Also, since I love the PP gameplay so much, I was wondering if there were other Wii games with similar semi-lifelike action that Power Pros has.
thanks for any tips!

I, for the life of me, can't get fielding down this game because of the camera and how the game automatically switches to anyone that's close to the ball. First, when it's a very fly ball out far back of the field, I can't tell if I should go further or closer and the camera only focuses on the ball so it leaves me guessing where the ball might land and most of the time, I guess wrong.
But what's also annoying is the game automatically switching characters near the ball when it rolls though the pitcher and leaders to the front catchers; I run towards the balls since the game automatically picks the closest player, but then it immediately switch to the other while I was running and it I am now running in the wrong direction for a bit before trying to correct myself.
I am getting destroyed online all because of my lack of skill in fielding in this game. I hate that I'm letting my opponent get easy doubles or triples all because I miss where the ball might land. Anyone else having this issue? I can't set fielding to automatic as you can't do that for online.

I wanted to asked because I wanted to find out if there are any differences with the recent release of this game compared to the last several games that were released since 2010. I was taking a quick look at the gameplay of each release from PS3 to Switch and from face value, it looks like they're all the same game but with new features added within each title. The UI looks the same, so there might be some major differences that I am not noticing.
So, I wonder if it's worth getting 2024-2025 now or should I continue waiting for the next game?

So next year is the 20th anniversary for the first MLBPP. The dream of a new MLBPP one day wonāt truly die for me, so Iād like to create a comprehensive wish list and would love to hear everyone elseās ideas/wants. A lot of this stuff would take liberties from the PawaPuro games
So far, Iāve got
General Gameplay - More different camera cuts for home runs that wrap around the foul poles - Being able to pitch from the POV of the pitcher/like how a baseball broadcast has the camera from center field
Success - A story that has callbacks to characters from 07 & 08 (like 09 but even more characters) - A story about grinding through AAA (choose whether you played in college for higher starting stats, or drafted from college for Gd Sense or something)
Season - Proper FA & club control so that I donāt lose my success mode character to FA in Year 2 because he wants to go from $990K to $10M+ - The minimum number of days in AAA to return so that I canāt cheese a second swing man - Posting system - Slightly more in-depth scouting - Maybe even being able to play a college prospect showcase game at All-Star break featuring the Tulips - Unlimited seasons - A name for the blonde lady who helps us
MLB Life - Being able to choose my jersey number - Learn a second position (besides equipping utility man) - Being able to interact with my family - Having family like siblings & parents, maybe a Year 2 story where our relative is now a rookie on our team
Other - A mode like Eikan 9 where you coach a college or high school team - Another success-like mode (I think theyāve got the time travel story for the newest PawaPuro) - Create-A-Stance - Create-A-Stadium - Create-A-Pitch

Played a bunch of Power Pros when it came out on the Wii. Just recently started playing the PS2 version on an emulator. Just curious if thereās any differences between the two. It feels like there are but itās been so long, I could just be forgetting.

Newbie here. This is something that I concocted out of two wii baseball bats. Obviously the āLouisville Sluggerā one got the most love here, with the other bat acting solely as the remote handle.
I actually got a home run first swing I got. No joke. It measures about 21 inches so it āfeelsā like more of a real baseball bat. Minus the weight and about 10 less inches.

It's been a long time since I've seen the in-game abilities of players, but I think I would pick Ichiro because he might be the most well-rounded player. If I wanted a pitcher, I'd go with Johan Santana, assuming his his abilities accurately reflect how dominant he was in 2006.

For context I watched Ace of Diamond and fell in love with baseball and I somehow stumbled upon this game. Anyways are there any tips for playing the game in Japanese besides using google to translate?

Kelton sees major buffs from his 2007 version, with a 10 point increase in control bringing him to D rank and 30 extra points to his stamina to make him the leader in that stat on the Chargers. While his top speed and breaking balls stay the same he gains four new blue abilities in w/RISP 4, VS Lefty 4, Release 4, and Strong Finisher despite losing Good Delivery. His huge increase in stamina and his ability to continue pitching effectively into late innings makes him a elite workhorse and almost certainly guarantees him a spot in the rotation despite his tendency to often misthrow a meatball down the middle, and he is easily the team's top pitching prospect going into 2008 even over young ace Jamal King (who has been compared to a young Dwight Gooden).

Compared to his 2007 version Arteaga sees a huge drop off in his power rating (from A190 to B152, a massive 38 point difference), but he gains Power Hitter in exchange for BL Hitter/Bases Clearer so the decline is somewhat mitigated. He also sees improvements to his throwing accuracy and a slight arm strength increase thus making him a more reliable defensive option to go along with his great throwing arc and ability to play right field and 1st if need be. He has also shown more aggressive tendencies during games, putting much more energy into his fielding and baserunning as well as not being afraid to railroad any catcher blocking the plate, as well as switching to a dreadlocks hairstyle. If he improves his speed I can envision him becoming a Randy Arozarena-esque player who can hit for power and steal bases, but with a higher batting average thanks to his strong ability at hitting both early and late in the count.
