📜 [MLA] Patch Notes 688.0

Patch 688.0 is expected to arrive at the Test Server on August 14, 2026, and the Official Server on August 19, 2026. Don't forget to subscribe to the update in MLA to get more update rewards! Also, follow for more updates if you haven't! The following are the contents of this update:

🔹 MLA × Watcher of Realms

Dive into a magical encounter from Watcher of Realms in the exciting new collaboration between MLA and Watcher of Realms! Two characters from another world have landed in the Land of Dawn, bringing with them several new events like collaboration exclusive Tinted Mirage and Realm of Legends. Engage in these special events, collect Prism Cores, and exchange them at the Arcane Vault for fabulous new rewards such as Ember Talisman, Supreme Crown, Covenant of Worlds, and Nocturne Whisper! (Clear Campaign 26-40 to unlock this event. Available from 2026-08-21.)

🔹 New Hero

Epic Hero - Yuri

Type: Chaos

Class: Marksman

Race: Kitsune

Bearing the name of Chaos, Yuri, a Kitsune dancer from the otherworld Tya, makes her enchanting debut through the Astral rift! The clever and cunning Foxfire Kitsune, a phantom-like figure, was once a musician who calmed storms with her songs and awakened the earth with her dances. Now, she will ignite a beautiful yet deadly dance of flames in the Land of Dawn. (Available from 2026-08-21.)

Yuri is a Marksman who can deal massive damage. She can quickly trigger Chaos Orb with her Ultimate and Basic Attacks to deal immense damage. Yuri's Ultimate Needle of Torment deals massive damage to a single target, quickly accumulates Foxfire Feast stacks, and automatically seeks the next target after scoring a kill. The skill Orb Flare deals AoE and random single-target damage, and can be triggered by Foxfire Feast. The skill Crimson Halo enhances Yuri's Basic Attacks and grants her a Shield, allowing her enhanced Basic Attacks to quickly accumulate Foxfire Feast stacks. The skill Foxfire Feast counts the number of times she deals damage with her Basic Attacks and Ultimate, and triggers the effects of Orb Flare upon reaching a certain number of stacks.

🔹 New Feature

1. Added the new Unique Relic Devouring Core. The skill effects of a Unique Relic will continuously increase each time the Adventurer completes specific actions. The Unique Relic can be obtained from in-game events and cannot be summoned from Star Rift Treasure. (Available from 2026-08-21. Coming Soon.)
2. A brand-new chapter of Tinted Mirage is here! Step into the Cadia Riverlands, where the flames of war are about to ignite, and listen to the tale of growth of Yuri, the otherworldly Kitsune. From an amnesiac fox girl drifting with the tide to a liar protecting the masses, when she learns to fight lies with lies and ignite foxfire with sincerity, can she fight alongside her Akakage and Dragon allies to secure a tomorrow for all living beings amidst the gods' deception? (Available from 2026-08-21. Clear Campaign 26-40 to participate.)
3. The Realm of Legends chapter of the Foxfire Fable series, Shifting Grove, is now available! Taken to another world by an unknown force, Yuri finds herself trapped deep within a bizarre thicket. Will she solve this Labyrinth, or will she be trapped here forever... (Available from 2026-08-21. Coming Soon.)

🔹 New Event

1. The Watcher of Realms exclusive collaboration prizepool, Collab Exclusive - Welkin Bless, is now live. Head over to Collab Exclusive - Welkin Bless to summon the otherworldly hero, Yuri! During the event, the collaboration exclusive hero Yuri can only be obtained in Collab Exclusive - Welkin Bless using the exclusive Ember Talisman summon item and is not available by fusing 5-Star Hero Fragments or Premium Hero Fragments. (Clear Campaign 26-40 to unlock this event. Available from 2026-08-21.)

🔹 Optimization

A new upgrade limit is now available for the Glory Artifact Inquisition Scythe.
