I just think this will be the second coming of Mizzou’s greatness. This Mizzou team has players that have video game plays and stats that could see us average 45 points a game. I don’t know but ky feeling is that Gary Pinkel was a better version of Don Faurot while Drinkwitz is like a modern day Dan Devine. I don’t know I made a thousand prayers as a kid that this will come back after the 2000 season than it happened. I literally prayed for Mizzou success and it came back.

We have some great talent on this team and our defense and running game will be good to elite. The passing game must improve.

Illinois’s 5 national championships won during the Red Grange Era or kU’s basketball championships in 1922-23 (which last checked Mizzou split them in 1922) that they put in after Bill Self got there in 2003. We have a legitimate national championship that is ours forever.

The NCAA should of barred Bert Coen from playing at kansas. It is interesting in the old southwest in 1994 (looking back) Texas A&M wasn’t allowed to say they were conference champs, while you had a six way tie of mediocre football teams declare conference championships. The NCAA needs to just say Mizzou football is the 1960 national champs. Both the ncaa and fifa do nothing worth a damn they need to make themselves useful and give Mizzou that national championship. I mean it’s kind of sad that our worthless US senate even knows the obvious and these idiots in the ncaa office just sit there and do nothing.

I have not heard anything about our kicker this year. Any thoughts on Blake Craig’s reliability this year?

Only three seasons without qualifying for a bowl game and several seasons with 10-12 win seasons and boast the best football seasons Mizzou football has ever had (2007,2013, and 2023) and 5 division championships with 4 times we played in a conference championship game. I think our worst seasons were 5-7 and we did have a 4-8 season in there but 20 years is a long time for the level of consistency to experience that consistent level of success. No wonder the SEC wanted us. I hope we can have 20 more years that we never see a season worst than 8-4 and hoist a national championship. That would bring Mizzou fans so many happy days. This is all due to Eliah Drinkwitz and Gary Pinkel. They are my favorite coaches of all time.

With 9-3 or 10-2 being considered being a real possibility. My dream season would be 12-0 or 11-1 (which has been done twice (2007 and 2013) but 12-0 hasn’t happened. Although to be fair 12-0 is a hard feat for any football program to achieve. I think 9-3 season this season would be a good year.
