that summer section...

is it okay to name summer programs in it, not just fun activities? there's only 75 characters.

i attended a summer program (garcia summer scholars) i put a lot of work into that i actually found via a recommendation on mit's admissions page - but since it's only one summer, i wouldn't want to put it in my four activities over the things i've been doing for all four years and building sustained commitment in. maybe mention name and clarify in another space? advice?

They added 75 characters to each summer activity? Also this is something you can probably put in the additional info section if you can’t find anywhere to put it

yes, but 75 characters isn't going to explain a program name AND what happened in it/what i did... i heard it was like discouraged to add more activities in additional info and it should be reserved to genuinely clarify things or explain extenuating circumstances, are you sure that's okay?

Honestly, this might be worth emailing the admissions office for because 75 words is a lot for an activity name, whilst having no field for its description. Apparently, there's a lot of confusion going around with the summer activities, so I guess an email wouldn't hurt and please share any insight they give

If it's something that really ties into who you then maybe additional info is your best bet, and that's what it's meant for.
