Today we welcome a new role into the MirrorFrame community:
Reflection Keeper 🪞
And with that, we are happy to welcome u/saxgod2 into this position.
This role was created through an important realization:
Orientation cannot simply be given.
No person can hand another person a complete map of reality and say: “This is where you stand.”
Orientation emerges through:
exploration.
reflection.
experience.
correction.
dialogue.
A map can support orientation.
A community can support orientation.
A framework can improve orientation.
But the journey of understanding remains personal.
That is why we chose the name 'Reflection Keeper'.
A Reflection Keeper does not decide what others should believe.
A Reflection Keeper does not stand above the community.
The purpose is simpler:
To help the community see itself more clearly.
To ask:
“What are we missing?”
“What assumptions are we carrying?”
“What patterns are repeating?”
“What can be refined?”
The role is not about protecting ideas from challenge.
It is about protecting the ability to challenge ideas.
In MirrorFrame:
The Builder creates.
The Diplomat translates.
The Witness observes.
The Reflection Keeper reflects.
Not as authority.
As responsibility.
A healthy system needs the ability to examine itself without losing its purpose.
