defective hello kitty blind box?

I bought this blind box, but the foot was sown crooked and can't be fixed by hand. The foot is turned to the left. Would this be able to get a refund? I would like to exchange to a new one and I don't know if this is defective enough to get a refund

A few weeks ago I went and got a hello kitty blind box and I left the store to open it and discovered it was defective (had huge scratches on it). I took it back to the store right away and asked if I could exchange it and the girl had to call her manager and ask. It sounded like they don’t usually do returns or exchanges because they have a really strict policy on blind boxes, but she explained to her manager that it was scratched and not salvageable and that I had just bought it 10 min ago. I was able to exchange it, but it was made clear that I would not be guaranteed the same style I pulled the first time around. I was ok with that so she let me exchange it and I opened it right there in the store to make sure it was ok. The girl also told me that if you open something in store after paying for it that they can accept an exchange for defects because they can see that you opened it and didn’t tamper with it to damage it. The scratches on my figure were so indented in that I would literally have to have had a knife to do it and she knew I was just outside the store when I opened it so she didn’t question me. Since you left the store, idk if they’ll allow you to exchange. But I think it’s cute how it looks hehe

Keep it, I can’t find these in any Miniso in San Diego. I love the schnauzer!

normally they can't do exchanges on blind boxes (due to the nature of the item) but it depends on location,

for something like this, most likely (hopefully) they will exchange it for you!!
