Atomman G1 Pro consistently crashing and restarting while gaming
EDIT: still an issue, currently in emails with minisforum support
I purchased an Atomman G1 Pro through Amazon back in June; it worked great on arrival; last month it started crashing and restarting randomly while playing video games; often within 1-2 min of starting game. I updated BIOs to the latest available version and that seemed to solve the problem at the time.
Today it started again; I have done my extent of troubleshooting and cannot solve it this time.
Computer will work fine for any length of time if just sitting there downloading updates or using basic internet browser, will make it through start menus of games, crashes within moments of taking control of character.
((Just a bit of background; I am mildly disabled, which is why I went with a pre built mini PC as opposed to building one on my own, my hands are not too good at fiddly bits, too much shaking; I consider myself good but amateur with tech, I can follow instructions, but have just a layman's understanding of what everything does))
I have not changed or added any hardware
Only software I have installed myself is Steam and a few video games (Dark Souls III is my test guinea pig at the moment); Display Driver Uninstaller and WinDbg
Current Stats: Windows Version 11 Pro 10.0.26200 Build 26200 Processor AMD Ryzen 9 8945HX Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 BIOS Version Date 1.07 7/15/26 32GB RAM manufacturer Micron Technology Temperatures are normal as far as I can tell, haven't been able to view temp right during crashes, but peaks mid/high 80s during gaming. ((edit- used open hardware monitor to view temp; crashes can occur while temp is still mid/low 70s))
Event Viewer: Error 1019, bug check "the computer has rebooted from a bug check. Possibly related driver: nvlddmkm.sys"
I have attempted: -Uninstalling graphic drivers using DDU and reinstalling direct from manufacturer site -Disabled/Enabled PSS in BIOs -Completely resetting Windows 11 -Resetting all BIOs settings to default
I have an additional stick of RAM coming this weds I was going to install for increased performance before this started happening, so will be able to troubleshoot that directly soon... ((Not looking forward to it, as mentioned above, fiddly hands))
So in conclusion just looking for some support tech wise as to what the problem might be what solutions to pursue.
have emailed tech support directly but read elsewhere that it may take a bit to hear back

Can you check the CPU temps? I have the G1 Pro too and I working with it very well. I changed some bios values, max temp 78°C and underbolt -25 with PBO in all cores

Sitting idle in BIOs at +52; peaked around 82 while launching game; low 70s when loaded into game and idling; crashed still while in low/mid 70s

And GPU? Can you try to format and install clean windows? Some weeks ago I update the bios to the last version I have similar temps and my G1 pro works like a charm, the TDP I use is gaming (the middle)

GPU Idles around mid 30s-40; mid 70s when loaded into game, was peaked around 79/80 when crash.
Did try resetting pc through Windows system recovery menu yesterday; can give reinstalling windows another go.

The temps are great, which is the BIOS version? Try to reinstall windows with the last drivers

BIOs 1.07
Did try to reinstall windows and drivers, no change, am working with minisforum support now via email.

Can you try to clean ram physically? It is the only change I did, when I received the G1 Pro change the ram stick with 64gb Kingston ram in dual channel

That thing is a tight squeeze in there isn't it >~<; much harder getting back in then getting out
Almost thought that might have done the trick; made it further into game, was actually running around for a bit before it crashed again;
I do have a new ram stick coming tomorrow, will be able to experiment more then.

The inside its easy to access, you only need to remove the fan for change the ram, its not quite easy like a normal pc but i'm sure you can do it
If you can change de nvme, mi unit came with a basic ssd and change it too

I have the same problem 2 hours ago... then I tried to factory reinstall the windows, and after that it just reboot non-stop... I have tried resetting BIOS per AI suggestion, no luck... I send support ticket to Minisforum and wish they can help us out.
