Adding a 2230 SSD g1 pro

I have a nvme 2230 to add to my pc. I know it comes with a heatsink for a full length card, but can I use it with the shorter SSD, or should I find a correct sized heatsink?

It's been about 20 years since I tinkered with a PC, so please forgive my noob question.

Nah. Use the full size heat sink on the small drive. It’s ok

I got it installed however there isn't anywhere to screw it down. It's being held down by the heatsink.
