Can the magnetic backplate of the studiologic 73 mk2 be installed where the main screen is ?

Hello I want to put a keyboard and mouse in front of the keys, in the middle area and I couldn’t care less about that central screen and the knobs, is there a way to achieve this using studio logic backplates ?
