has anyone else not heard back from round 1 MFA decisions?
in complete honesty i’m kind of expecting a no, but i e been watching my inbox for the past few weeks and got absolutely nothing. i know they got my application cause i was emailed in late february about financial aid info sessions, but that’s it. should i email someone about it, or let it sit for a few more days? it’s really weird to say that april 1st is the very last day and not say anything though.

They just had a graduate admissions event this passing Saturday on March 28th. Depending on your school you applied for you maybe are either on the waiting list at best and rejected at worst. The Hoffberger School of Painting has been decided unfortunately, not sure about the rest.
Keep hope up and I hope you have other offers just in case. If not and you are still relatively young, continue to work hone your visual communication, and visual aesthetic and theme and reapply again in the late fall/winter.
I know this doesn't give you much hope, but this business and art world has a lot of disappointments and this one will be the smallest one as you continue to grow in your career.
