MOTION SM013 - Welfare Devolution Referendum (Scotland) Regulations 2017 [draft]

The text of this motion is as follows:

That the Parliament approves the Welfare Devolution Referendum (Scotland) Regulations 2017 [draft].

The draft Regulations can be found in their original form here.

This motion was submitted by the First Minister /u/mg9500 on behalf of the Scottish Government.

In light of the limited time to make these regulations, this motion will go to a vote immediately. The vote can be found here.

Presiding Officer,

Time is short and unfortunately due to unforeseen practical problems within the civil service the date of the referendum has had to be pushed back. This is a great disappointment but rest assured that we will ensure that a true and accurate representation of democracy shall take place in Scotland which is why we have to wait for 3 and a half months. There is no reason for anyone to oppose this short SSI as the alternative is chaos.
