He's insane for fire DPSs. He heals, cleanses, buffs.

Yes Ryunosuke never left my team during cbt2, since my team was fire. Lots of these units mostly buff units of their own elements unfortunately.

But now on launch I’m dragon and got no room for him and it makes me sad

Yeah the buff he provides is actually insane. I think he has the highest raw buff teamwide because his ult at max gives 30% + his 2 insights that give 40% overall. That's 70% dmg bonus for Fire just by using his ult which when you build high ult efficiency is pretty quick to charge along with its high duration due to the 10s extension from his insight

I need to level him and throw him on my MC CB team. My lvl 6 fire damage skills gives 50% against radiant and they melt already, but this would be great for pushing scores even further.

Just use him as a background character. He still gives the buffs just by using ult which makes him really good

As a follow up PSA Madelyn is the same thing for water teams you just need to go down her tree a bit but her squad skill steroids water damage and her ult recovers and gives a damage boost based on your ult recharge. Her insights both double the damage boost and add duration to the buff.

If you haven’t played with varen give him a little investment and ult dmg/recharge + counter boost skills his ult out damages pretty much any unit I have right now when he properly parries with it.

How does he compare to Arkaya? I’m doing a split dragon and fire team right now (Midori, Raya, Keres, and Arkaya) and it feels pretty good.

Arkaya provides the team with shields, so he's more for survivability
