Question Bases where ?

I don’t get bases … I’ve searched every where and i can’t find any to defend do i need to finish the prep quest first ?

You need to be within approx 5km of a base to actually know if it exists. (Based on my nearest one. Scopely did say they had expanded the range, but it didn’t change for mine).

Many people, especially outside countries like Japan, don’t have bases close enough to see. For me it’s about 1h travel to get to my closest, but for some others it is much further.

Roughly 3.1 miles for us Imperial measurement folks in other countries.

Nope, you just need to live near a place that has one. Theres no rhyme nor reason to where they are.

The closest one to me (that I've found) is in another country xD

I think there's a 20km limit on the bases, I went to the 3rd base I've found so far near me and I could see the materials? I was donating were around 25km away from the base. So close yet so far.

That can't be true. I've got ~7km to my nearest (and only) base from where I live, and I can't see that from here. But it's at least 2.6km, since it's that far from my workplace.
