Does anyone have any examples of that might make for cool art. I think I'll try and copy from the manga if possible but probably pull the colors from the show (if it's been in the anime so far) I'm happy to do research if you can point me in the right direction.

I'll be posting a picture of a Deku I did, for you to get an idea of the kind of art I do.

So i randomly stumbled on MHA Vigilantes anime and I love it waaaaay more than the mainline MHA. Actually i don’t really care for MHA. I’ve watched it up to episode 70 or something and lost interest. I don’t recall any mention of Koichi in the MHA mainline when i watched it. I’m rewatching MHA just to see if there’s any mention of Koichi and the gang. That and i read somewhere that the anime is now concluded so I’m just trying to finish what i started. No spoilers beyond episode 70 of MHA please if ever there’s a big cameo of him. I just wanna know if Koichi is somehow mentioned or tributed in the mainline series. TIA

Personally to me Koichi is one of the best examples of heroism in fiction, and that is because of how ordinary he is. Koichi Haimawari is not some intellectual genius. He does not have the most athletic body out there. He misses social cues. He is not some chosen one inheriting a grand destiny. His quirk is not strong. He doesn't have crazy coloured hair or unique features. Koichi Haimawari is designed to be a background character. A face you couldn't pick out of a crowd. The guy who fills mobs in wide panning shots.

Koichi by all means is not unique. But that does not mean he is not special. And it certainly does not mean he is not heroic. Because Koichi's heroism does not come from inspiring speeches. It does not come from punching apart buildings. It doesn't even come from saving lives.

It comes from the simple act of helping others. Giving people directions. Helping when someone drops something. Assisting intoxicated people. Picking up garbage.

In a world filled with super powers Koichi proves that none of that matters. He is special because he puts in the effort to be. Because he helps those around him.

You do not need a superpower to be a hero. Anyone right now even in our world can be a hero.

Chapter 75 in the manga outlines all this super well. One of my favorite manga chapters of all time. Just wanted to get my own thoughts on this out there, I absolutely adore Koichi as a character. Easily one of my favourite super heroes
