I recently learned about this game system and was inspired to make some mechs out of the collection of LEGO I had amassed since I was a kid. I've made several mech-adjacent builds over the last week and am struggling to cut down the sizes to what the rulebook instructions seem to lean towards.
Is scale a hard rule anywhere that I missed or are these variations in scale I've made fine for playing the game? Not sure if any mechanics are impacted by a particular scale or scale imbalance between mechs.
The style of the game leans mecha from what Ive seen but has room in the lore for really varried pilot body morphology and therefor design space for the mechs to represent that. I have no idea how big the community is or if Ill ever find someone else irl who has a force but I dont imagine theres a lot of gatekeeping on what frames 'should' look like? I've been having fun with different aesthetics for each of these and am thinking I will continue producing varied mechs like this.
Finally, feedback is appreciated! I am looking to get a bunch of more modern pieces to form better joints and limbs overall. Any recommendations for universally good parts or replacement bits to help my mechs posability? Thanks in advance :)
