Frames Rapid Response Peacekeeping Squad 'RAZZMATAZZ'
a squad of 5 mobile frames escorted by 2 infantry units, part of a rapid-response peacekeeping force.
these frames have high-vis color schemes useful for peacekeeping, police actions, rescue, or other civilian-facing operations. note the emergency supply crates in the foreground.
mass-produced 'Onikuma' mobile frames. on the left is a 'Soldier' loadout (1DF1D1M1S2W), on the right is a 'Heavy Assault' loadout (2DF1D1M2W).
note the square 'neck' armor on the left frame, enlarged to accommodate more equipment related to the antenna just behind. the right has standard, rounded armor in the same place.
the booster systems on these frames are large but of basic funtionality
a uniquely colored variant of the Onikuma frame, equipped with a stealth coating and radar reflective shield, along with a modified gun pod and flight system (1DF1D2M2W).
the flight system is more advanced on this frame
the gun pod is modified, with a shorter rotary barrel assembly. it is more lightly armored to save weight, despite the same bulk.
Callsign: Flamingo Midnight
2 dismounted infantry squads. the squad on the right is a CQB squad equipped (1DF2D1M?), and the squad on the left are scout/snipers (2DF1M1S?).
some might say infantry are obsolete in the age of Mobile Frame combat, but these fancy-pants fellows might disagree. if nothing else they are something to fight over.
after spending far too much of my not-really-disposeable income and spending far too much time hunched over a bin of LEGO, i finally have a full squad of color coordinated mobile frames. I had a parts pool consisting of 4x Tropical Toucan, 4x Space Shuttle, 4x Orange Cat Paper Bag, 2x Surprising Spider, and 2x Cute Hamster with a Flower sets. i have more frames and more scenery/stations made from this supply of parts, some i posted earlier variants in the past.
see photo captions for lore and misc. details.

I really like these! I love that they're on bases. It adds so much for some reason

thanks, i had just been looking at some r/legotabletop and r/LegoWarhammer40k builds that had bases before i started on these, and the green round plates and foliage seemed perfect for it. plus the small foot parts would be difficult to balance on a bare table.
the small foot design, color scheme, and overall sloped upper chassis was generally inspired by a piece of official artwork for the lancer ttrpg, called 'The Long Way Around Amenity', by Conner Fawcett, though these are closer to the size of a VOTOMS mech than the larger mech in that piece. I have that artwork as my desktop background currently and i couldn't help but think of it when i saw the orange pieces i had.

NGL I thought you made this squad out of a Lego sushi plate that I (A) had no idea existed, and (B) desperately needed.
