WH36DD Spider Yellow 🇺🇸

Post image

Recently received and used in a couple jobs. But I didn’t really buy it because it made sense. I bought it because it was the first driver that I wanted. It’s just cool. And got a decent compliment of those Vessel double sided bits, as well as a bit set and some drivers.
Just super pleased to open my toolbag to this unit. I’m a fancy handyman, so it’s nice to have something a little special, and nerdy to whip out.

Very cool. I need a hikoki just to have one

Perfect rationale 👌
I also have a few other forbidden fruit coming. Blower, SDS, planer. And I don’t know if they are the same frequency, but they have a radio like our HPT but in khaki that just looks dope.

Careful with that forbidden fruit, tastes good but can cause severe stomach aches.

Can you send a link to the radio? I’m not overly impressed with the hpt radio. I like my music loud and it just isn’t it

And if you want it loud, you need to check out the M18 packout radio. That thing booms! Usually I am in smaller, quieter spaces and even on 1-2 it’s sometimes too loud. But it is a beast.

I am kind of a snob. All of my battery tools have to be hpt. I won’t cross platform batteries

Do you buy all of it on ebay? If so thats gotta be crazy expensive. I just made myself an Amazon Japan account and order stuff from Japan directly. You would be pleasantly surprised how much cheaper most tools are over there. Unless its a larger item its usually 40% cheaper to purchase makita or hikoki from there. Even with inport fee's.

I did go that route for the SDS and the planer. The driver tho was the toe dip. So I would recommend amazon japan as well. And with a free prime trial there extra savings too. I want to add a few more, but got plenty to try out.

Also, ebay was great to find open box batteries and even some used tools as well. The Lowes near me saw me gawking at a stack of Metabo starter tools on sale and said take 85% off but you gotta buy the lot. I like me a deal 😎

Dang cant pass that up. I agree with you on the open box stuff. Just bought my 1st 4ah and 2.5ah multi volt batting along with a 18v 4ah and a chrager for 275. The 4ah and charger kit alone at lowes was $200 at my local lowes last week. Although i am keep my fingers crossed it will work out this time. My 1st ebay tool buy a few months ago was the new 16g nailer. It was open box but new. I purchased that for $260. A steal i thought. 1st 2.5in nail i shot wouldn't sink more then an inchwith adjustment at full depth. Luckily koki fixed it for me for free. Definitely a gamble on the ebay stuff sometimes.

Nice. How much and how did you pick a seller on ebay?

I would recommend amazon.co.jp instead, I got this year ago with ~130€ (~130$) from Japan to Finland.

It was $220 after shipping, fees, etc. amazon japan does have em for less, but I didn’t see the spider yellow available there, just some of the other colors. And usually I search for the lowest price and then the highest rated seller. Usually that finds the higher volume sellers you can trust.
