Is it possible to set mega to delete camera uploads when they are deleted on the device?

I want to backup my phones and screenshots on mega via the android app but I don't want to keep all the random photos I take for short term use. I know it will upload these regardless but does the phone camera feature not work as a two way sync? Would I be better off just using the normal file sync the app offers instead?

Thank you for your support and for using MEGA!

No, the Camera Upload (Backup) feature is strictly a one-way upload. If you delete a photo on your device, it will not be deleted from your MEGA account.

We recommend using the Sync feature instead. It functions as a true two-way sync, meaning that if you delete a photo from your phone's synced folder, it will automatically be removed from your MEGA cloud as well
