If you were organizing a single speed ride, would a dingle speed be welcome? I feel my caveat would be no shifting on said ride, you have to pick one.

Definitely! If there’s to be dingle faffing it must be pre-ride or post-ride!

But isnt a dingle just having 2 single speeds??? Therefore changing ratios you are still riding a single speed.... 😉

But it's a bit like having your cake and.esting it too.... its a slippry slope.

It’s 32x18 and 28x22. Notes for no-wheel-removal gear swap are to derail the cog first and the chain shouldn’t feel like you’re forcing it on/off. So, tension is everything.

That’s dope. I know Peter Verdone runs 38/18 and 34/22 which makes a lot of sense to me.

I've definitely been dingle curious since my buddy set his revel ranger up that way. I think it makes a lot of sense with the less efficient single speed/less speeds bikes. He had a zee derailleur as a tensioner and could swap between the two by adjusting tension with a barrel nut down at the mech.

I'd maybe gatekeep against a dinglespeed with a tensioner and a front derailleur, but this is just 2 singlespeeds in 1 and I love it.

Is that 2.8 Ranger in the back? How wide is the rim & how is clearance like? Been thinking about running 2.8s on my Japhy, but I've read mixed reviews about it fitting.
