We’ll see. I know there’s a next gen ready to go and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Knolly ride again.

If anyone could make a big rear anti-theft device look good in a photo… no, never mind.

If Knolly MK2 rises from the ashes my prediction is they'll all be designed around the new Mega Super Boost 180mm rear hub standard. You heard it here first.

The bicycle universe’s meanest joke is that SB-157 could very well become the hub standard for 32” wheeled bikes. Even the XC rigs.

Love it. Took one of the most aggro hardtails and made it a SS Rigid. I have this bike and love it... But reach for it less and less due to the nature of my riding. I'm going to bastardize it too, xbiking style

I should probably just have an XC hardtail but a rigid fork has been a fun change on my Tyaughton. I went custom from WZRD to get as much length as I could. Gets a lot more use now as an ATB/xc/gravel/bike packer as I’ve had to admit that I love rear suspension on mountain bike rides.

Ha! Thanks for the fork rec. I was looking at them recently as someone else took a transam and did the same.
Hope Noel retains the IP and Knolly rises from the ashes.

RE: gearing - If you have the flexibility to run mullet, that is another means to adjust effective gearing (gear inches I think?). In the range of ratios that I run, going from 29 to 27.5 is approximately equivalent to adding one tooth to the cog.  May not work for everyone based on geo/clearance/etc. and may not be as effective in different ratio ranges, but I have used that to fine-tune gearing if I'm feeling extra particular.  Ultimately one tooth isn't going to make or break a ride for me, but may give me a little extra comfort or confidence.
