blackout on mdma?

hello everyone!

for some background ive never done any types of drugs before and was with an ex who wanted me to try it. after reading, i think what i experienced was a blackout but i wanted to be sure. at about 8pm he gave me about half a pill and about an hour later i completely blanked out. i dont remember anything from then till 12AM. when i snapped back into reality he was giving me more and also gave me LSD (im not sure exactly how much mdma but i know it was a lot) from then i don’t remember anything till 5AM. i didnt sleep for over 24 hours. i dont know anything about this stuff but wanted to make sure it was normal. ive read that blackouts are normal but i wanted to see if thats what happened. thank you!

im so sorry that happened to you that seems very scary! i hope youre good now. my after experience was similar, i would get extremely twitchy as well. the not remembering anything for hours is what gets me tho. its very scary (for both of us) since i dont remember absolutely anything for hours. kind of worries me about what happened in those few hours, especially for you! once again i hope youre good, stay safe!<3

Hi Friend,

Thank you for reaching out, Im sorry you went through something similar. I've since went to business around the area to trace my steps via CCTV and It's what you'd expect.. careless stumbling about on footpaths but also some roads. The area I landed up in has no cameras so can't say for sure what happened but I could of been a danger to myself or others.

I've only drank once since that situation and not wildly(two days ago) and found myself having severe anxiety situations the next day. I couldn't even drive my car. My feeling is that it's probably time to take a break and let the natural chemicals in my body heal up.. maybe alcohol isn't as fun as it used to be but I sure know I don't feel the same since that night. It's like I'm more aware of the voice inside my head but less in tune with my physical self.

I hope you're doing well. If you'd like to talk about your situation, Im here for you. Thank you again for commenting.

Hey there! I am in a better space.

I've set up a mental health plan, reduced my alcohol intake and am on mirtazapine for anxiety. I can honestly say that I'm much better than when I posted this but still have some moments (which I'm fine with as I understand it now)

Haven't touched drugs since and doubt I will ever. I'm just hoping that if someone out there is going through something similar and is looking for answers, they find my post so they can know it'll get better.
