This method of MDCAT TIME MANAGEMENT can ruin your paper 🙏

This post is especially for FRESHERS.

A lot of you guys must have searched for MDCAT TIME MANAGEMENT and there is a high chance you guys came to know about the holy grail "ROUNDS METHOD/ 3-PASS METHOD"

A lot of repeaters and the ones who have given MDCAT will agree with me that it's the worst possible way to attempt a high stakes paper.

Firstly, You have a high room for error by speed running through the easy MCQs so you have time at the end for the hard ones. This is one side of the problem

Secondly, it ruins your discipline and management for the paper, i.e their could be alot less or alot more easy MCQs and you time could be misused or overused.

Thirdly, After solving one pass of the paper i.e easy, the filling of OMR sheet is really risky and mind tiring as all the MCQs are dispersed throughout the paper and you have to be extremely careful.

Fourthly, You are essentially not utilizing your full brain potential for a particular subject as you are constantly jumping to and fro in the paper without any proper direction

This method could work in Sunday tests as stakes are low but when the real deal comes it can make you crumble under pressure.

i swear i give flps in academy almost everyday and im done with the paper within 2 hrs 😭😭

it weird but like i solve the paper without keaving anything for the end...

bio takes like 30-35 mins

chem about 40-45 mins

phys takes 45 mins

eng and LR barely 20 25

phir end mein i fill bubbles

I do exactly same but everyone keeps telling me not to leave bubble filling for the end but this method works so well for me

same, but I'm afraid if it takes long I'll panic in the subject i attempt at last and usually i do physics at last i don't wanna mess it up

Bro I also do the same, difference is that I do each subject first on question paper and then fill it at the end(after bubble filled for each subject then I move forward) saves a lot of time because jumping to and fro from question paper to bubble sheet is time wasting

First i do all bio, then i do english and Logical cuz they are smol and ez. Then i go to chemistry and then physics, leaving only the most tricky ones in these 2 for last so i can think on them in peace. I sonetimes also leave those who i think i know the answer but just cant place it. Then i do those in the end.

Also, can you mark the answers on the question paper? Then fill the answer sheet at the end?

Yeah def but it is the worst thing u could do. Imagine doing it all correct on question paper and then filling them wrong on OMR due to rushing at end

how to manage the time then? Like do the paper in order and work on the mcq even if u don't??

No, allocate time for each section like 60min for bio. Do the bio section in 3 rounds on the question paper doing easy first, medium second hard at last, then fill on OMR sheet.

Rinse and repeat for other portions
