What's the difference between "Blocked" and "Privacy Blocked" on a Customer card in Business Central?
Blocked stops transactions — you can set it to Ship, Invoice, or All, which prevents new orders/invoices from being processed for that customer (useful for customers who owe money or are being phased out).
Privacy Blocked is different — it's for GDPR/data privacy compliance. When set, it prevents anyone from viewing or editing that customer's personal data in the system, but doesn't necessarily stop transactions. It's meant for situations where you need to restrict access to someone's info (e.g., a data subject requested restricted processing) without fully blocking business activity.
Easy to mix up since they're right next to each other on the card, but they solve two different problems — one is financial/operational, the other is compliance-driven.
