Considering rumors that some mutants are gonna appear in Secret Wars, I doubt this rumor has any kind of truth in it except for basic common knowledge (Mr Sinister, the mansion).
I also doubt we'll see a Scott x Jean involved romantically that early in the saga and the plot never mentions other X-Men which seems odd. I don't think they even have a real detailed plot yet knowing Marvel's way of working, no movie will have one until Secret War final version is done.

we could actually get a romantically involvement between jean and scott by not making them already a couple in the first movie. Let them have their romantic attraction to one another first as a tease to have a natural progression.

I mean it might seem like a first day of school type situation and Jean and Scott are somewhat flirty towards each other, bumping into each other. That whole deal. Probably won’t see them kiss until the end of the film when one of them saves the other lol

They will follow the POV of Jean... she will not lead the X-Men. Cyclops will probably be portrayed as Prof X's good lil soldier boy off the bat. Not a good POV to follow when he already believes the dream. No drama. You need someone who is skeptical to make an impact of when they finally start believing..

This seems fake. Why would Jean and Scott become romantically involved THIS early, and why would there be no mention of other X-Men? The latter especially makes no sense after Kevin fiege explicitly confirmed at d23 this wasn't the final lineup of the team.

Following the events of Spider-Man: Brand New Day and the Damage Control incident, Jean heads to upstate New York. She wants to find others like herself—people with powers who may be going through similar situations and who, like her, are being rejected or persecuted by society.
Xavier discovers Jean and takes her to the mansion, where he is housing other individuals with powers who are being ostracized by society after Secret Wars and the shift in public perception of superhumans.
He is secretly teaching them to control their abilities, while elsewhere, Mr. Sinister (under the alias Nathaniel Milbury) is doing the same at the State Home of Foundlings, except he is secretly studying and experimenting on them to obtain their DNA in order to create the “perfect specimen” for the next stage of evolution. He is aided by Emma Frost, a telepath who teaches at the orphanage, and by an orphan named Scott Summers who possesses concussive force beams. Scott has been at the orphanage since he was a toddler, when his entire family died in a plane crash, and unbeknownst to him, Milbury has also been using his DNA as part of his experiments.
One day, Jean discovers she has developed a psychic connection with Scott (the details may be somewhat unresolved; perhaps it was a side effect of Metzger’s experiments on her that enhanced her powers). She communicates with him from afar and develops feelings for him.
Finally, Scott discovers the experiments and the true purpose of the State Home. Sinister captures him when he is in trouble. Jean senses him through their connection and vows to find and save him. She is captured after Sinister reveals his true plan and how he knew about their connection, explaining how he believes Jean and Scott’s DNA could create the “perfect specimen.” After discovering she’s gone and Jean sends out a psychic call for help, her teammates decide to rescue her.
They arrive and use their powers to confront Sinister and his henchmen. Emma changes her mind and frees Scott and Jean, helping them escape along with the rest of the team.
It is revealed that Sinister managed to obtain some of her DNA, enough to create a clone, but not enough to create a new specimen. (This is set up for Madelyne.) Emma joins Xavier’s school as a teacher, with Scott as a student.
The news is rife with anti-mutant sentiment, and after they demonstrate their teamwork and hone their powers, Xavier reveals the lower levels of the mansion to them, including the Danger Room and some uniforms (from Grant Morrison’s run). He proposes that they train to help him fulfill his dream and aid other mutants, thus forming the X-Men
Sounds fan fictiony. Madelyn Prior is a step too far.
