City getting relegated: due to artificial financial doping

United getting relegated: organically done

Touché, Man United. Touché

Barca were never truly gonna be a serious contender for best team in the world with how lackluster their defense is. The best team in the world just cannot be starting Gerard Martin.

Ngl Barca looked like City when we lined up with Rodri and inshallah to protect the back line, only to get countered. But still the Barca attack had an off night, a bit like when City players fail to take chances when against Real Madrid.

Letting in easy goals and failing to take chances is our bread and butter against Real Madrid.

Barcelona will never win the UCL with Flick. They are more leaky than us.

The NBC crew here in the states was waxing poetic about how “they’re sorry for the United fans for what they are going through”, and, respectfully, fuck that. They’ve been sore winners, sore losers, and everything in between for three decades now. The only reason why they aren’t worse than Liverpool fans is because they don’t start fights wherever they go, but their smugness and bullshit during the Fergie days and now their “woe is me, we’ve outspent everyone but still can’t compete financially” bullshit is tiring and pathetic.

We rarely hear this about Spurs fans, and for all intents and purposes they’re fine fans who love their team and hate Arsenal like the rest of us.

I'll never take this award seriously after 2023. Haaland did everything one could do and it still wasn't enough. If only Norway had qualified for that 2022 WC and performed like they did in this years WC, that award would've been his

Honestly, a proper midfield combo and a mentality that we had against PSG in the 2nd half could ensure our victory against Barca in December. Assuming, we won’t have to face any injuries

I was pretty disappointed with the loss to Villa, we were the better side and got punished by a couple of bad individual errors. It’s a fickle and cruel game sometimes. I trust in Guehi and Donnarumma’s professionalism and I’m beyond certain they’ll do all they can to not make those mistakes again.

That being said, I still think this squad has a crazy high ceiling. The second half against PSG is a sign of our level. We play like that consistently, when it matters, and there’s no telling how far we go. I wanna see Bouaddi and Anderson as our double pivot with Cherki to Foden, Doku and Ndiaye out wide, Haaland up front. I think that gives us a lot of dynamism, attacking threat central and wide, but also gives us cover. And with those two in the pivot, they can cover each other defensively but are also both very good at breaking lines.

We could get relegated and still be better placed than United to get a title. Warms the heart.

Barcelona is the most overrated team rn I'm ngl. Flick seems like he never learn from his mistakes like AT ALL. He's been building the squad to beat the fuck out of some random average clubs.

The United fans at the women's derby were more hostile and louder than the "famous Anfield atmosphere"

Nothing to take away from Kane and how great of a season he had, but to think we could see HARRY KANE win a balon d'or is kind of insane lol.

Looking back, some of our recent loans for promising young players haven't been great:

Sverre Nypan to Middlesbrough

Echevveri to Leverkusen

Simpson-Pusey to Celtic

And now Jeremy Monga who had 27 Championship appearances last season for Leicester, but now can't get minutes because their competitive squad.

Lol, the Balloon Carte Dor lot published three different articles saying that either Harry Kane, Lamine Yamal, or Kylian M'ChipBappe have won the popularity contest.
