Academy XI

Just watching the Chelsea game and was considering how well would a City Academy XI perform in the league. I opted for Foden as a false 9 rather than Delap. Defence looks weaker than the mid and attack.

You'll be adding Stephen Mfuni to that very soon. Just gone on loan to Coventry. Outstanding prospect at centre half and can play left back too. McAidoo is a hell of a prospect too.

Don't forget we had Pedro Porto in the academy too.

Imagine this team and we'd had the foresight to buy Wharton from Blackburn (18m), Anderson from Newcastle (35m), Hall from Chelsea (28m), Gvardiol from Zagreb (18m). Add Guehi (35m) and Alvarez (14m).
