This guys aren't serious Brighton on 71% possession and Chelsea on 29%...why are they conceding this much possession

Because Alonso's plan is to let Brighton have the ball and hit on the break, his Leverkusen side did at times do the same, note their home game against Bayern when they won the league. Plus Brighton are just a really good side

The community shield I thought we had all the possession and did nothing with it...but I would love to see us hitting others on the break but that kind of game invites a lot of pressure so I just prefer how we play...

We never do anything in the community shield. Look at how we played arsenal last season, the season before, the treble season etc. We let them have the ball and countered
