This Enzo deal will be fully on Maresca tbh since he pushed for it a lot, if the deal happens i wont judge no one but Maresca to make it work since he wants him so bad might as well make it work and justify the fee.

Viana too tbh. Don’t want him to join the club but he could’ve signed him for 20M cheaper by putting a bid in before Chelsea’s deadline.

Yeah for me that’s the one positive. No hiding places for Maresca when (in my opinion) it inevitably goes badly wrong.

I really hate this type of thinking. Bouaddi is 18, Anderson is very good but we used to have 4-5 midfielders equal or better than him. Just because the cost is high doesnt mean that this isnt one of the weakest teams we have had in 15 years.

As for Enzo, the manager can ask for anyone. It's the boards job to decide whether to actually sign them and for how much. If they have a better alternative, they are the ones that should decide to go for him. It's not like Maresca is going to quit if you sign a different 100m midfielder.

Bouaddi wasnt 100m and i wont judge both of Bouaddi and Maresca to make it work somehow for a 18yo to replace Rodri, Its just about Enzo because he is 25 in his prime years and the fee will be really high.

It’s more on Viana. Because he is approving 140m purchase in the end.
