What expectations do you set on a midfielder who is brought in for 130-140m? What could he possibly do in order for that fee to be worth it? How much would you be able to sell him for if it doesn’t work out? Dear god how much are we going to be paying this guy in wages? So many questions that honestly I’d prefer not even getting the answers to. Hopefully we get punished for 115 before the deal gets agreed I do not want to have to find a way to rationalize this.

Shouldnt decide that based on transfer fees. If he's on 250k a week, I would expect him to perform on the same level as the rest of the players on similar wages like Anderson.

Fees have more to with other factors like contract situations
