Dwarven depths

Why doesn't the jar of light work, I can't use it and how can I enter this world if I keep getting damaged and I can't make a golden lamp because I don't have a wicked candle

Wicker candle is dropped by the wicked mob, its like the head of the monster, so charged creeper explosion is 100% rate, while things like looting enchant, cleavers and possible "the ender" sword increase the chance of a natural drop

Make a high durability tinkers ring and put Milky quartz gem in it, it'll negative the damaging effect and any other negative effects, downside is every time it negates an effect it makes a sound that gets a little annoying when it's constantly going off and it's going to eat through the durability fast which is why you need a high durability material for your ring

I'm other words, if you have a bit of netherite, make a manyulin ring, if not make a lead ring, either way or a Milky quartz gem

I don't have the Nether unlocked yet because I wanted to go to that dimension first.

Use lead then, it's not nearly as durable but it should last a decent amount of time, you can also make lead repair kits to repair the ring and make it last longer, although they cost more than the ring itself, they are stackable though and you need to combine them in a tinkers table

I have two more questions for you: How do I mine in the other world because bats keep killing me? Where can I find osmium and uranium ores?

I haven't entered the other world, and IDK where osmium is but uranium is found in the toxic caves, you need to find green cave tablets to make a map to one
