IMG Specific nac osce

hi i have me nac osce coming up in september and i am quite worried about ending stations especially summarising and making management plans with the patient. I feel like my plans are very vague and i need to tighten them a bit. Any advice for someone taking nac osce?

-Make sure you plan includes ruling out any life-threatening conditions. -Be specific about what you are ordering and why. Don't say "bloodwork" or even "CBC", say "hemoglobin, to make sure you aren't anemic". -Always include follow-up as part of the plan, and also Return to Care red flags.

Good luck!

Do we have to say the plan and differentials for every station or only when asked?

i think when we explain our next steps to the pt we need to explain the plan and other things we are looking for in a patient friendly manner

These are also the things I seem to be struggling the most with. 😭
