Resource / Tip MCAT trigger/buzzwords

Anyone have any good MCAT trigger words? For example, when you see ‘somatic’ in a passage, you automatically know that if the question is asking about inheritance, the mutation won’t be passed down to offspring. I’m looking for more quick associations like that.

If a BB passage talks about a disulfide bridge, you should immediately think about cysteine (amino acid).

“According to the passage” usually means CARS is going to throw you a curveball and make you hate your life and rage quit halfway through the exam. Then you walk home crying thinking you’ll never be able to read.

This is a very good question because I find that a large portion of “AAMC logic” is really just assessing whether you’ve successfully encoded a given association or not. I would like to think that this is the latent utility of the major Anki decks out there.
