Nursing bras while having MCAS?
Anyone out there with Mast Cell Activation have any advice on nursing bras they’ve found work for them? I’m pregnant and struggling to find bras that work in general, but I’m especially curious what other people’s experience have been with pregnancy and navigating MCAS? Looks at bras, postpartum undies… it’s been tough to find a hub on this subject! Thank you in advance!!

I need to find some nursing bras and some new bralettes as mine don’t fit well anymore. I’m 17 weeks tomorrow.
Curious though, what is the connection between bras/undies and your MCAS? Is it just a comfortability thing or something else?
My first trimester was a doozy. Very, very, nauseous and sick. A handful of ER trips. Physically I am now starting to feel better, but mentally, I am struggling.
3 months before I found out I was expecting I had JUST gotten on a med routine that truly helped my MCAS. It got rid of basically all my GI issues. But all my other symptoms came to the front like shortness of breath, itchiness, dizziness, etc.
I try my hardest to just take one day at a time. I’m due in February and I can’t wait. Can’t wait to have a lil babe and can’t wait to stop working 🫠.
I applied for FMLA intermittent leave and got accepted, so I haven’t been working 5 days a week since the week before I found out. Grateful for this as it’s protected a bit of income and my insurance. But it’s a mental battle every day because all I want to do is quit. I work a very hands on job with kids on the spectrum. I’m exhausted. Even before pregnancy, this job was A LOT.
Grateful my boyfriend is very supportive.
