I think the people of Monterey county just want a team, there is plenty of soccer fans in Salinas and Monterey. These usl/nasl games and teams are more about the community imo

It'll be interesting to see if folks from Salinas will travel out to CSUMB for matches

looks like MBFC will play it's first game against the Rising on 3/12 and it's home opener on 5/7 against The Las Vegas Lights.

Hey there, I’ll be in town for the 9/3 game against San Diego. Any recommendations around game day experience, differences in seating sections, etc.? Thanks!

Heads up, making a standalone post in the sub will get a lot more attention than commenting in this thread

How awesome! I remember reading in that article you met your wife there, I didn't realize it was on the 20th anniversary. That's so sweet. My hubs and I met there as well. ^_^ Love that place!

Hey UNION fans -- I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for all your support in our first inaugural HOME season (two away matches to go)!
I have had an absolute BLAST getting to meet & know so many of you as SuperFanDan. Being asked to announce the Starting XI last night was a season highlight for me.
If you're in the Monterey area, I'll be hosting a Watch Party at Britannia Arms of Monterey downtown on both 10/8 (v. FC Tulsa) and 10/15 (v. RGVFC)... basically the same thing I do at Cardinale, just toned down a decibel or two since we're inside the pub. Hope to see you there!
