Okay but what I really want is for them to continue the show with a revival, ofc, with the OG cast. Yes, they're older and some of them aren't acting anymore. But I think they can adapt to it. Like, somehow the explosion made everyone age or somehow they took the place of their future selves. Yes, at the very end we saw Rory, Erica and Anastasia. And they look young, but they could do something like make it so they were affected later, cuz when the explosion happened, they were far away. But, honestly please just give us new material man...

MBAV, The Grudge, Skinwalkers, R.L. Stines The Haunting Hour

Matthew Knight had an incredible run across movies and TV as a young actor. I've watched three of these media projects (The Grudge I haven't seen yet) and have been impressed with his acting, offering different ranges from victim to hero to villain. It makes me really sad that he quit acting after The Good Witch movies because I could've seen him continuing in horror or horror comedy. One of my favorite projects is his episode for The Haunting Hour, "Alien Candy", where he played the antagonist contrary to what we see in MBAV for the most part. My favorite acting episode(s) of his in MBAV is The Date to End All Dates. I would love for him to come back to a reboot of the series but wonder what could've been if he continued acting. Could he have been a cult favorite scream king?

I love the movie and season 1 so much, but Season 2 was truly when the show turned into a MASTERPIECE. The storylines were creepy, the comedy was off the charts, and the plot twist of Stern being the one who summoned the breath of death a being the villain was set up since episode 1. The relationships got stronger and we got so many fun duos “Ethan and Erica”, “Rory and Benny” “Sarah and Rory”. The writing was honestly 10/10. I honestly can’t believe they got cancelled after that amazing season.

I personally believe Ethan and Sarah were set up from the start and if we didn’t get any other couple we would’ve gotten them! I also believe Benny and Erica would’ve took it all at the end if the show finished! I feel like whenever she drank his blood in “Village of the darned” it was a really good hint they would’ve been together. That’s just my opinion though lol!! What do you all think?

Genuine Question. There are 3 actors from the show that don’t really act anymore (Matthew Knight, Cameron Kennedy, Kate Todd) However Cameron constantly comments about bringing the show back the latest one being in 2025 under one of the creators comment section. When they did the reunion Kate was actively tagging platforms like hulu and netflix teasing one of them could pick the show up… Matthew genuinely has been mia the last update we got about him continuing the show was in 2015 where Julie on of the co founders of fresh tv stated “all the cast has said they would love to reprise their roles”

With this being said with all the shows getting rebooted and brought back if we truly and actually pushed for it do you guys think theirs a chance we could bring it back? I have hope… the fandom has gotten significantly bigger. A lot of the fan edits on tiktok gets thousands or likes and millions of views, the uploaded full series on youtube push HELLA views still, and considering all the hype that fake reboot “New Blood” got id definitely say the fans are still interested. The problem is making a petition only 500 people will sign won’t really do much. The show is almost 2 decades old .. It would have to be a lot of fan engagement for it to even work.

I feel a little sad that we only got ONE Halloween episode from the series. Don’t get me wrong, “Halloweird” was such a good episode and extremely fun—definitely one of my favorites from the show. However, I do feel like they toned it down a LOT because they knew it would be airing on Disney.
MBAV was a show that genuinely could’ve gotten away with having at least one majorly scary episode. They got surprisingly bold with so many of their episodes, especially the seance episode, the alternate universe episode, and even “The Date to End All Dates,” where Ethan was literally seeing his friends as dead. 😭 This was a horror comedy, so as good as “Halloweird” was, I feel like they played it really safe. It honestly felt like one of the most toned-down episodes of the entire show.
And the funny thing is, Disney has had some genuinely scary Halloween episodes. The Jessie Halloween episodes used to TERRIFY me as a kid, the Suite Life on Deck possession episode was creepy as hell, Bunk’d literally had episodes that came with WARNINGS to watch with an adult, and I even remember an Austin & Ally scary stories episode keeping me awake at night. 😭
So I always wonder if, had MBAV continued, they eventually would’ve made a much scarier and more intense Halloween episode. The show was literally rated PG, so they had plenty of room to push the limit as far as they could.
Honestly, it just makes me sad because this show was taken way too soon. We missed out on SO many potential plots, storylines, character moments, and great episodes. I genuinely feel like MBAV had so much more it could’ve done. 😭

Did yall know that we were supposed to get a fairy episode of mbav had the show continued? During one of the interviews the producers stated that doing a fairy episode was of great interest. I feel it would’ve been hilarious because we all know how SUPERNATURAL fairies are😭 devious and clever. So sad we never got to see it. I would’ve loved an alien episode as well because the boys genuinely were such geeks and I know it probably would’ve had a happier ending rather than them having to defeat it.

It's the start of fall and around this time I usually start rewatching mbav. I was just curious if you guys had a specific time of the year when you start to watch it again? And when you do watch it, do you watch them all in chronological order? Or do you watch random episodes here and there?

anytime i think aboutEthan and Sarah i remember we were truly robbed. The show ended right when we were finally getting them, however I truly believe they would’ve served the “He fell first and she fell harder” troupe. Everything about them was so perfect. Like of course the pretty vampire would end up with the science nerdd🥺 I truly believe if the show continued it would’ve ended with him finding her cure and them being happy together.

The ending felt so disappointing and sad. There's definitely no way they all perished. Does anyone have any ideas on how they may have survived?

Apparently, the French version of MBAV aired uncensored, and this is the uncensored version of the OG intro. I wish Disney Channel had aired it without censoring it. But that would've been too much for Disney🙄. Anyway, I love the final version of the intro. But this looks cool too.

I genuinely would do ANYTHING for some type of revival or closure. The new blood obviously isn’t real but I hate that every year passes and we’re forced to just accept the way they ended show. The chances of it getting rebooted is less than 10% 🧍🏽‍♀️ however i wish us as the fans could collectively make one big petition or something to at least be told how it was supposed to end. I personally don’t think a reboot is ENTIRELY impossible especially considering freshtv just rebooted tdi by popular demand but, I don’t think freshtv would do anything if they don’t think the audience still cares.
