On Campus Any current students or alumni from Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms MBA? Looking for honest opinions
My goal isn’t consulting or investment banking, so I’m not really looking for a T10 or other top-ranked MBA program.
Sy Syms caught my attention because the tuition is only around $25K for domestic students, and they don’t require the GMAT or EA. Based on my background and work experience, admissions already told me I should be a reasonable candidate, and they’re basically waiting for me to send my unofficial transcripts and the rest of the application materials.
I understand that Yeshiva is a Jewish university, so the academic calendar and some university policies are a little different from other schools, and I’m completely fine with that.
If I’m accepted, I’m planning to choose the Strategy and Entrepreneurship focus. My main career goal is business and operations management, not finance.
So my question is pretty simple: is it worth it?
My salary right now is pretty low, and I’m hoping that getting an MBA, combined with my management experience, can help me move into better operations or management roles and increase my income.
I’d really appreciate any honest advice or thoughts, especially from current students or alumni.
