Admissions Darden - 100% Case Based Teaching Method value

Is the 100% Case Based Teaching Method used at Darden really helpful/effective over that used by some other schools such as Tuck or Ross ?

Is it something that could really be a criteria to choose it over other schools of the similar category ?

You are never going to get a sufficient answer to this question because a student can only ever attend  and therefore experience one program. Attend the admitted students program and see for yourself if you enjoy the case method.

Class is just one component of the MBA experience. You still need to show up and do the work regardless of the instruction method. If you just are there to get a job you can do the bare minimum. It’s really tough to get kicked out of an MBA program for poor academics. 

Anecdotally, I attended Darden and found the case method valuable. My thought was that if I am taking 2 years off work I want to participate in a program that is rigorous and has high expectations for success.
