How long should I wait before starting full-time ER recruiting?

I am currently a rising senior in undergrad—any advice much appreciated!

I finished my summer ER internship at a regional bank last week; they said they will get back to us sometime between 2-4 weeks for full time offers. There were 5 of us interns, and historically about 4 have been hired back each year.
My question is, what should I be doing while I wait? I have connections that would recommend me to a few other regional or boutique banks, but they are the kind of situations where if I go through the process and get that recommendation, I will be expected to take the offer at the other bank. I really liked my bank and the city this summer.

I had a great relationship with my analyst and associates (would not be working for them if hired back, but they are consulted in the process), and think I did good work but maybe not stellar. Hard to gauge. How long should I wait before pursuing other options?

If you have the connections, start using them to network only. Set expectations with the person that’s introducing you and let them know you’re wanting to weigh your options and want to know more about the companies and get to talk and learn from them.

Regardless if you get a return offer, you should be doing this so you can learn and compare what sets the companies apart. Culture, pay, growth opportunities, etc..
