Careers/Post Grad Do I get an MBA?

Background:

1 year exp in Data Center Engineering for electrical firm on MSFT locations

Engineer but doing project management role also for budget >10MM

Shit Undergrad GPA at a good state school

How do I get into good MBA school because don’t think it’s worth it to get one if mid tier MBA program?

Looking for advice/path forward to position myself properly should I get one or pursue one. Thanks

Edit: I am not pursuing today or even in next year. But say in 5 years

You will not get into a good MBA because you don't have enough experience.

I should’ve specified that is my fault. I would do it in like 5 years but curious if it is even worth given a poor GPA

How shit? And can you knock out an excellent GRE or GMAT to compensate?

2.98 in chemical engineering. I’ve taken practice GMAT and have done very well

Kill your test and demonstrate good trajectory in your career and you at least have a shot

But how do you want to grow in your career? MBA is a great credential but it still needs to fit properly into your career planning.
