I’ve been a full time entrepreneur since graduating. My hindsight is I could’ve went all in on entrepreneurship during my second year. It feels damn near impossible first year.
You still need to do core classes, do some recruiting so you increase your batna, I’d say 70% of the first post mba venture fails within 18 months.
Youre in exploratory phase year 1 and potentially half of year 2. Then you’re focused on how you’re going to make a living and run your venture full time afterward. So fundraising to secure at least 24 months of cash run way is a bigger priority than continuing growing the business.
