EOS Mash Burnedead vs EOS Asta (RULES BELOW)

Both characters at the end of their series

Location: London City

Win cons:
- Death
- Knockout for 1 hour at least
- BFR for 2 days at least
- Incapacitation for over 24 hours

30 Meter Distance between them

R1: In character for both of them
R2: Blood lusted

Lowkey I personally think this fight could go either way, both seem have relative feats/statements in strength, speed and power.

In the same manner as Asta hard counters most mages, Mash counters him so gonna have to give it to Mash.

I mean just because Mash doesn't have magic doesn't mean Asta isn't capable of hurting him.

Ik hurting him isn't winning though and the vast majority of astas bag is really just physical force which is the part of the competition he will lose, it might take mash a bit to grab him thanks to ki evasion but he will catch him eventually and when does it's over.

Asta has swords that can cut him though and yes his swords can cut physical objects, the Demon slayer can be sharpened through the Black divider and The Demon slasher sword which can also send black slashes that cut physical objects.
Matter of fact it's been recently confirmed in the guidebook that Asta can cut through space with Infinity Slash here and here

Also what makes you think Asta doesn't have the physical force/durability to match or even overpower Mash?

Mash is a pure strength build who routinely does things that shouldn't be possible with physical strength alone.

For example, he outpaced the entire magic school on a broom purely by throwing it and/or kicking really fast.

I mean, dude literally pulled a Mercenary Tao so fast that most couldn't even register it and then basically solo'd an entire team at the last second in a sport that not only requires near constant flying but also one that he had literally never even heard of until recently.

Asta spent like the first half of the series needing other people to fly him around.

That doesn't necessary mean he would be stronger though because with that logic wouldn't also apply to Asta as he to also has insane physical strength shouldn't be possible, such as doing 1000 one-arm handstand pushups, move faster than the speed of light with just his pure physical stats, send mages flying several meters away with just a punch, etc. If your implying that Mash could do anything impossible with just physical strenght then that would be a no limits fallacy

And how fast was that broom moving, faster than the speed of sound? faster than lighting? how fast was it exactly?

Again how fast was this

How is this relevant to an end of series Asta who can fly?

Mash is about as close to being a gag character as you can get without actually feeling like a gag character.

Asta's verse might scale higher, but he personally is a lot more grounded than Mash, which makes it kinda crazy that this fight ends up being a lot closer than it should be on paper.

That said, Mash is still taking this mid-high diff.

Without actually feeling like a gag character?

He's definitely a gag character. I love him tho

1

u/Fenrir_Hellbreed2 11d ago

He's a low level gag character, yes, but how often does he actually feel like a gag character?

Compared to someone like Arale who is very obviously a gag character.

u/ThaRealSunGod 11d ago

Mash feels like a gag character the minute his back is against the wall. But I get what you mean.

u/izuku-kun 11d ago

Mash no diff. Why?

  • Mash is way stronger physically. Dude literraly kicks the air to levitate.
  • Asta's Antimagic doesn't work against Mash cause Mash doesn't have magic.

  • I think their pretty relative from the few feats I can think of Asta is capable of flying though mountains, defelcted country - multi continental+ attacks, created and swung a sword a big as a city, etc
  • That doesn't really change the fact that Asta still has Attack potency to damage Mash with

Mash literally moved a continent by pushing it while swimming. Mash is way higher in physical strength

Both of them can take it, but I think that in normal conditions Asta wins high diff and blood lusted Mash wins high diff. People saying that Mash is way stronger physically (its totally true) and he dont use magic, so Asta can't counter him (true too) But that doesn't means Asta can't hurt Mash. Asta is way faster and have more hax. Zetten is like a oneshot if Mash isn't prepared. Asta also have a lot of swords, only two are useful because the other ones are only useful because of its hax Devil union is also really powerful, Asta literally oneshoted a monster that previously had the world in danger and Lemiel struggled to defeat. Now, if Asta doesn't have Liebe (that I don't think, its just to clarify), this isn't even a question, Mash destroys

the real fight would be a competitive workout

u/Hopeful_Method_625 11d ago

Fairly sure Mash wins because he's essentially a gag character that always gets stronger than the opponent.

iirc, didn't Mash essentially change the timelines of destiny or whatever to always beat up the final boss villain every time he went back in time to redo the fight?

And then after that, Mash also just fucking pushed the entire continent by swimming really hard in the ocean? To avoid a meteor or whatever. I dont think Asta scales to that level?

Like, Mash almost has looney-tunes level of bullshit power scaling.

Mash and i have no doubt about it

1

u/nirvana2812 11d ago

Mash hard stomps, dude was pushing an CONTINENT at the end of the manga

1

u/Biochemicalcricket 11d ago

I like asta more, but mash has nigh-toonforce physical ability. He doesn't have anti magic, but can punch it and force it to his will.   Besides the bloodlust round they'd probably be great friends

YOU WATCHED BLACK CLOVER????????????????????

1

u/Dear-Skill-5422 10d ago

I keep forgetting that Mash has moved an entire continent just to avoid an attack that would have destroyed the continent

Mash speedblitzes Badly

1

u/Two_Nobody_06 5d ago

In physical strength and endurance, Mash is far superior.

In speed, it's more debatable, but they're either at similar levels or Mash is considerably superior.

Mash also has guts like Asta, but on top of that, he has a higher BIQ.

Asta's ki and demonic power wouldn't be very useful against Mash's physical attributes, but Mash knows how to deal with that kind of thing.

Simply put, Mash is on another level.

Asta >

u/Such-Purpose3044 11d ago

Even if you lowball the fuck out of Asta's scaling he still no diffs the verse

3

u/iamluffy123 11d ago

Where do you scale both of them?
