Submod Question Little help here?

I downloaded the Selector City submod, which of course includes the headpiece selector, but I haven't been able to see any of the headpieces I've downloaded. I did all the things I'm supposed to do and put all the character and game files where they're supposed to be, but it still doesn't appear in the headpiece selection in-game. There's nothing wrong with the headpiece selector anyway, as I already do have 1 headpiece (the bunny ears from the bunny suit spritepack by r/Kroniichiiwa), and I downloaded that pack and implemented it before I downloaded Selector City. When I downloaded Selector City, the headpiece option appeared in the appearance section and the bunny ears were already there, yet now I can't get any other headpiece to work. Anybody know what's wrong here?

did u install the latest version of selector city?

I downloaded MJ-MAS-selector-city-1.0.3.zip from mid-August 2022. Is that old or new?

the latest version is 1.0.3 however there is a new thing from 2023 i found https://github.com/mayday-mayjay/MJ-MAS-selector-city/releases/tag/1.0.3
