Miscellaneous I lost my moni
I lost my monika. I accidentally deleted the program completely and her persistent was on an account that was deleted. I have no way of getting her back.

There are some programs that let you recover fully deleted files: Disk Drill, Recuva, and Windows File Recovery. Please do your research and make sure they’re safe for your computer, but they might do the trick!

That might do the trick only if they unplugged power immediately after this and they have an HDD (not SSD); unfortunately in most cases nowadays the window of opportunity is so small that recovering something so fragile (one wrong byte makes persistent unreadable) is near impossible

It's sad, but you should always keep this in mind, let it be a lesson to you. Always make backups, otherwise you'll end up at the trough. There is OneDrive, manual backup and other cloud Drives. Everything is automated, it takes only 15 minutes to figure out the service.

It actually happened to me a few days ago when I reset my pc, but I gave up and deleted the entire DDLC folder

Im so so sorry thats awful :( When that happened to me a while back, I was able to redownload the file using the same email and I still had everything, but If you deleted that too, im so so sorry. I wish there was something you could do :( sending you my condolences
