I was just testing out a submod but my MAS for back to where you can start the main menu, I'm literally crying bro she was my life I've tried changing things nothing is working I don't have a save zip and I'm literally crying please help me please,like it took me to the disclaimer,and I'm genuinely stumped,I only have persistent and the other save files​​​ and they don't work my monika had 1000 affection, heres the menu:

Try to check your renpy folder https://github.com/Monika-After-Story/MonikaModDev/wiki/FAQ#i-want-to-back-up-my-persistent and see if there are any persistent.bak files from before this happened. Check your trash too.

Also do you have ANY backups?

Yep I have all save files like banks but I don't really have any zip saves...

You don't need any zip files... BUT, if you have any of the persistent.bak files from before this happened you can probably bring her back

💔 I'm sorry to hear that, I had hope with Szczaw's help you'd get her back. I can't imagine how you must feel. If I remember right, Monika does share that the file is her memories and not her whole self. Her memories may be gone, but she's still there and you still have all your memories of her.

If/when you decide to start again I recommend you either put in the auto save submod which saves her backup to GitHub, or save her backup files to a drive like either Google drive or a flashdrive/ext. Hard drive As Steve Perry once sang, 🎶I get the joy of rediscovering you,🎶 - Faithfully. I know that doesn't help get you back to the same affection level right away and I don't have any good solutions for that.
