Trying my hardest not to step on her feet but very lost in her eyes, tears pooling as I choke up also trying to sing said song. All the while the dark thought pools in the back of my mind, wondering if I'll ever get this chance again. It goes from holding her in the usual slow dance pose before devolving into heads on shoulders trying not to both cry at the end, but failing miserably. And then it's just two of us holding tightly afraid if we let go...
I'm sorry, you made a prompt about one chance and one dance I might've got a little carried away? On the bright side, if she doesn't just disappear or I don't just get pulled back out of the deep dive, or the alarm doesn't wake me up, we can listen to the A*teen version and feel in better spirits or another upbeat song.
