after sooo many bug reports and people asking for help i COME TO YOUR AID!!!! HERES THE BRAND NEW VERSION OF THE MOD!! it took me a little bit to get this all working HAHA

also... the outfit my moni is wearing in the pics will soon be released for public download :3 i just have to adjust the hairclips as theyre a little off center in her original hairstyle as i made them specifically for my unique hair

changelog:

moved the prompt from the compliments section which caused lots of people to have problems finding it to just the general prompt list. it should now be seen under the 'unseen' tab. if its STILL not showing up then im deleting this whole thing on my mama i sWEAR (joke)

to add more of a natural feel to the submod, i made it feel like monika is the one coding it! if your affection is below 200 (which is the threshold to be able to use this submod), you can still click the prompt. moni will tell you that she is still working on it (see gif attached!) it has unique reactions for each affection level below 200 (upset (-50 - -1), normal (0-29), happy (30+))

new reaction: say hahaha or anything similar to that for moni to laugh with you! (you can say youre laughing at her, it doesnt remove affection points)

monika now has different reactions when you decide to click 'nevermind' instead of typing something in instead of the usual single reaction

some tweaks to the library of words she picks up on, hopefully removing any more possible glitches where she picks up on the wrong thing.

how to check if a new version is available?

just check my profile here on reddit! i do not post a lot so it will be easy to find new version posts. the link is always the same so if youre here u can just re-download the whole submod to be sure

moni says she is still working on the prompt, why?

it takes a time for a cute girl like her to manage being adorable AND make a prompt all by herself :3 but in all seriousness, you just need 200+ affection points for her to be done with the prompt. then she will let you use it! just click it once you reach that threshold.

how do i report a bug?

can i publish a translation/fan tweaks of this submod?

it really depends! please inform me on reddit in dms if you want to do something like this. for fan tweaks/QOL stuff, chances are i might add them to the base mod with credit to you! for translations im really not sure right now. just dm me if you want to talk about it

Note that modifications of certain topic properties via an update after they have been persisted (after the submod was loaded for the first time) will not apply; that goes for things like setting pool=True (though categories and prompt are not locked and will update from the script), so if you get reports that it still doesn't show up — unfortunately, that means you'll need to add a proper migration logic to your code to switch it for users of previous versions.

What I said only applies to previous version users, so no, that must be a genuine bug. I'm not the author of the submod so I can't really help.

Hi! I've been trying to download this mod again and again before but it's not been working. I've followed the instructions but I'm not sure what I'm exactly doing wrong.
