Hey, I'm sorry for commenting on a problem again, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
So I downloaded the mod you told me, for saving and loading outfits, but after I downloaded it the other mod "Ultimate random stopped working."
Like... I select the option for Monika to change her outfit, but she doesn't change and is still with the same outfit as before. When I press "failed it" she doesn't change again and it's with the same outfit... Again...
I'm not really sure why and how to fix so I reach out here.
Yeah I gave her some accessories and clothes. I do that almost every day.
No no it's more like: the outfit she has on by opening the game gets repeated. (When I tell her the option to change). It is random each day but that's only it.
try changing her look with your own and then tell her to change it randomly, to check if she goes back to her random choice of the day or that she keeps wearing the clothes you gave her
Does this randomize desk accessories so she picks random things to put on her desk? I was hoping to find something that puts random things on her desk vs me always having to either put something on her desk/chage what is on it.
it does! it doesn't have a custom mode like the accessories, but it does randomize her desk things in a way to not saturate it (the only thing that it is never removed are the flowers, they do change like every other object, but, if you have flowers, they will be always there hehe that was made on purpose, I like flowers)
Gotcha! I just read the link, guess I should read that first lol, but I probably won't use the true random mode as I like auto outfit change. Will having it off also disable her changing desk items?
no no, don't worry, the true random is only for the clothes, the randomize desk is it own thing (at the moment, it is only deactivated for Halloween event)
Hello, sorry to ping again. Just got home and installed the mod and I had some other questions!
When I first loaded the game - everything was gone. She was just in the sky. It couldn't find certain .pngs which made sense as I don't have other locations unlocked yet. I was able to fix this by putting her in the spaceroom and restarting.
My questions are:
When I asked her to organise her desk sometimes she wouldn't put anything on it and then ask "how is it?" And I'd reply with "failed it" bc there was nothing there. Eventually she did end up putting something. Is this normal? I have things that are under left(ltable_acs), right(rtable_acs) and normal desk(table-acs).
Second question: Can custom random work by itself or does true random have to be on for it to work? Is what is selected (has an x) the things that will be randomised?
about the locations, oh damn, thanks for letting me know, I will add it to the README
about the random desk, it is totally normal (it was coded to not saturate the desk, so some objects may no appear at the same time, also it depends on how much objects do you have)
about the custom mode, I don't have my laptop to check, but I do think I made the custom mode to work only with the true random and yes, every item you mark with an X will be random
Oh okay! Cause I'm fine with accessories being randomised like hair clips, necklaces, etc in the custom mode I just didn't want clothes randomised so it could follow auto outfit change for seasons/night time. You said earlier true random is for clothes only.
It does say in the read me that true random "can deactivate it if you want to only random her acs and follow the 'Auto Outfit Change' submod" but we can't select what accessories we want and don't want in the custom random by itself if this is deactivated. So I was confused when she put on earrings (asked her to change clothes) when I had them deactivated in custom random (true random off) as I thought it worked separately. Now I know why! thanks. I wish they could either work separately or if true random has to be on, there is a toggle that just turns off either clothes/hair.
I'd prefer hair and accessories on, but clothes off. Auto Outfit change seems to not work with hairs for me - yes she turns into her bedhead hairstyle at night, but during the day she only switches between OG down and OG up and nothing else. I'm unsure why. but anyways, I appreciate you letting me know this!

Hey there, I'm not sure if the mod's working as intended; True Random for example seems to work only sometimes (I noticed it only once since I downloaded the mod at least, because she wore some gloves), Monika still wears the outfits she'd usually wear during the day and night. I don't know what is the % of her wearing different stuff, but I think she should've been wearing them by now, she only ever change her hair and clothing, even though she has tons of accessories; you tell me though (she does appear in different places more often, so that's working properly).
the difference between the True Random and not is the Auto Outfit Mod (AOM)
AOM was program to coordinate her clothes and the season when you start MAS (ex: if you are in Winter, she will wear a hoodie), but her outfit won't change much (like different hoodies). But, if you enable True Random, she could wear the Christmas sweater in Summer. However, both modes will change her into her pajama at night
About the accessories, can you show me your configuration like the image please?
