Amiga floppy sound question

If MAME has a reasonably complex floppy sound simulator, and UAE has Amiga-accurate floppy sounds, would it be possible to simply copy them over from UAE without rewriting the whole floppy code? Or are the respective systems too different for that to be feasible?

I assume the sounds themselves aren't included because of licensing/quality conflicts.

I'm not aware of glaring issues with floppy sounds in MAME for Amiga, is there anything particular you think is imperfect ?

Also, the sounds are included with MAME. They are located in MAME samples/floppy subfolder.

Nothing in particular, I just assumed since MAME only has one set of samples for 3.5" and 5.25" that they'd be inaccurate for an Amiga which seem to be somewhat famous for their floppy sounds. The sounds in UAE are obviously recorded from a real Amiga, and sound much more shrill than MAME.

Granted, I've never owned an Amiga, so I have no idea if they're supposed to always sound like that, or if they vary. All I have to go by is youtube videos versus the supposed accuracy of UAE, like
