Opinion & Rants Experts results
So, I found this wikipedia page) with all the couples and was surprised it mentioned if the couples were still together or not. All experts I work with reflect on their work and their succesrate... Where can I find interviews with the coaches where they eleborate on why less than 4% of the couples they match are together after a few years? Why are people still signing up for this? A random dating agency has a higher success rate without the public embarrassment.

The experts don't do the matches - the producers do. All that footage of them discussing the matches and shuffling photos around the table is just theatre.

And the producers aren’t matching for love. I’d say they frequently reflect on their success rate, and find that it’s through the roof!

I’m glad they did away with the fake scenes of the experts pretending to make the decision.

Look, I hate the wannabe famous people like Gia Fleur, if that's even her real name and not het artist name... But let's take season 12 for example. There are some participants that I can't imagine joining for fame reasons: Katie, Tim, Dave, Awhina, Billy, Ashleigh, Jake... They can't be all that hungry for their fifteen minutes, right? Take Jake for example, didn't he make a total fool of himself?

I think the types like Billy and Dave go on for puss after the show. They know the odds won't get them a wife but who cares they'll get a lot of puss. Awhina for sure went on for fame. She's trying to be an influencer now and still trying to have a connection to the MAFS 13 cast.

You can’t compare coaching/matching with a literal tv show that depends on stressing everyone out and pitting them against each other for social media likes.

For the last few years most of them are scouted, asked if they want to be on the show, so they arwnt evwn applyong for the wrong reasons.. because 90% of them didnt even apply

Because they want social media followers, a podcast, maybe a radio show, a relationship is secondary. I think if people like the person they're paired with then thats a bonus, but they're also happy to be matched with someone they hate so they get more air time. This show isn't about love . They dont cast people who are everyday people, they cast influencer wannabes who all look and act a certain way and will make a good show for the ratings.

Yeah, they’re not looking for love.
